Recruitment of researchers according to OTM-R rules

At the Wroclaw University of Health and Sport Sciences, the recruitment process follows the principles of OTM-R (Open, Transparent, and Merit-based Recruitment), which is the principle of open, transparent, and merit-based recruitment of researchers, which aims to provide equal opportunities for all candidates and increase the quality of selection processes.

This is in line with the European Commission’s strategy to strengthen the European Research Area (ERA).

The OTM-R policy guarantees, among other things:
  • A transparent system of hiring researchers,
  • When recruiting for scientific positions, adhere to the principles of equality and anti-discrimination,
  • Tailored to the type of position offered, competition procedures,
  • After the recruitment process, informing candidates/candidates about his/her strengths and weaknesses.

Decisions on the selection of a candidate at the Wroclaw University of Health and Sport Sciences made solely on the basis of measurable criteria, without regard to origin, gender or other discriminatory requirements.

All job offers of the Wroclaw University of Health and Sport Sciences  are published in the Public Information Bulletin – on the University’s website, on the Euraxess portal and on the website of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
