On April 24-26th 2019, took place a Polish-Vietnamese videoconference “EDUball / BRAINball – Innovative teaching method for educators”. The conference was organized by academic teachers of our university: Ass. Prof. Andrzej Rokita, PhD, and Ireneusz Cichy, PhD, and Sara Wawrzyniak, PhD, and An Giang University (AGU) in Vietnam. The AGU employee, Han Van Pham, is a PhD student of prof. Rokita. They will jointly carry out a research project using EDUballs / BRAINballs in elementary school in Vietnam.
On the first day, Prof. Rokita presented a lecture on the use of EDUballs / BRAINballs in early childhood education. The next day, Han Van Pham conducted workshop with teachers and students from An Giang University in Vietnam. On the last day there were two practical workshops: the first with children from the ATUT Bilingual Elementary School in Wroclaw, run by dr. Ireneusz Cichy and the second with children from elementary school from Vietnam, led by prof. Rokita’s PhD student, Han Van Pham.
Workshops aroused much joy and smile among children, teachers and students from Poland and Vietnam. Representatives of An Giang University expressed their willingness to cooperate between universities and conduct classes with EDUballs / BRAINballs.
