Implementation of the principles of the Charter and the Code is done on a voluntary basis, i.e. institutions that want to implement the principles of these documents at their place can join the process at any time and apply for the European“HR Excellence in Research” award.

Academy of Physical Education in Wroclaw Declaring its support for the principles contained in the Charter and the Code, and thus proceeding to obtain the logo “HR Excellence in Research“, undertakes to conduct an internal analysis to assess the extent to which its functioning is consistent with the Charter and the Code, and to prepare an HR Strategy and Action Plan outlining the implementation of European standards for researchers’ working conditions.

Benefits of having an HR distinction

The purpose of obtaining the HR logo is:

  • Creating a friendly environment for scientific work,
  • Providing scientists with stable working conditions and professional development,
  • Develop transparent recruitment rules,
  • Increasing the attractiveness of scientific careers, the quality of research and education, and the competitiveness of universities.

Obtaining the HR Logo is an honor for the University. It enables promotion among international organizations and scientists, as well as the University’s bonus in international grant competitions (including the European Commission in the EU’s HORIZONT 2020 framework program), as well as bonus in national NCN and NCBiR grant competitions and science funding programs from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

It is also an increase in the attractiveness of employment for workers.
