Situation retated to SARS-COV-2 and implementation of ERASMUS+ projects

Due to the dynamically changing situation regarding the introduction of measures to prevent the spread and transmission of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, we would like to inform you that there is a possibility of returning to your home country.

In this situation, two options can be considered at the moment:

  1. You return to your home country and resign from continuation of the Erasmus scholarship.
  2. You return to your home country, observe the situation (you participate in the on-line classes of AWF Wrocław) and continue the scholarship when the classes at AWF Wrocław university are resumed.

In case you decide to return to your home country, please follow the guidelines below:

  • You should inform by email your home university Erasmus coordinator and the AWF Wrocław Erasmus coordinator (office@awf.wroc.pl) about your decision to return to your home country.
  • The Erasmus AWF office must be informed about the date of return and the place of return (town, city), as well as the means of transport (plane, bus, private car) by email

If you decide to stop the Erasmus scholarship altogether, please contact the coordinator of the AWF Wrocław Erasmus office and ask for a confirmation of your stay, indicating the exact dates of your stay.

In such a situation, your coordinator will be able to apply for recognition of force majeure and recognition of expenses incurred so far in connection with the implementation of the scholarship.

We suggest taking your belongings from the place where you are staying on an Erasmus scholarship (including personal belongings and documentation regarding the Erasmus program).

Once again, we urge you to comply with all sanitary services recommendations, both Polish and in your home country.
Please keep us updated on your situation in Poland and at your home university.

Taking into account the above, as well as the situation in which we are all now, we kindly ask you to take the threat seriously and think thoroughly about your decision to return or continue your scholarship under the Erasmus program.
