On October 10, 2019, an event entitled AWF Wrocław - Find Your Dream Erasmus Destination, organized as part of the global celebration of the Erasmus Days 2019, took place. It was one of almost 4,000 events organized in Europe and around the world. Erasmus Days are unique occasion for celebration for the students, employees, academic staff and the entire university.
The highlight of the program was the grand opening of the new Erasmus Spot by Rector dr. hab. Andrzej Rokita. The Rector for the first time lit the Erasmus neon, which is the symbol of the new place dedicated in particular to students, both outgoing and incoming, as well as to all employees and people interested in mobility within the Erasmus + program.
Erasmus Spot is also a new space for everyone interested in the program and mobility, where you can get detailed information about the program, complete and submit application documents, as well as talk, share experiences, and make new contacts. The idea of launching the Erasmus Spot is to be close to the students and employees, to encourage them to study abroad, to inform about the opportunities, to disseminate and promote the idea of mobility and openness.
During the event, the premiere of the AWF Erasmus film took place. The film, in which students themselves talk about their experiences within the program, is aimed at promoting and encouraging students to study abroad. Everyone also had an occasion talk to Erasmus grantees on site - listen to their stories and adventures, ask many questions, get advice, and above all, get inspire and motivated to take part in the program.
The event was attended by many students, Erasmus scholarship holders studying at our university, as well as the academic, didactic and administrative staff.
